Limits, trials, and what “an event” means
Do I need a Meta developer app?
You need a Pixel ID and a Conversions API access token from Events Manager. Caply stores the token encrypted and runs server-side tracking for you. You do not operate a tagging server.
Can I use Caply without server-side tracking?
The snippet can still load the browser Pixel, but Match Forecast and iOS recovery need sales sent from our servers. Turn on automatic server-side tracking (or send the purchase from checkout) so email and phone actually leave your backend.
What counts as an event?
Each sale or page event Caply receives (browser or server). A browser hit and a server hit for the same checkout still count as one ingested event. Failed retries are not billed twice.
Is there a free Caply workspace?
No. The public scanner, docs, and blog are free. Dashboard, pixels, CAPI ingest, Ads Coach, Ghost, radar, and in-app scanner require Pro or Team.
Do Pro and Team trials require a card?
Yes. Stripe starts a 14-day trial, then bills $29 or $99 monthly unless you cancel in the customer portal.
